No original ideas here. Vonnegut mentioned in one of his sci-fi books that the in the future, the Chinese bred themselves to be smaller so that they could survive given China’s resources and their population problem. Eventually, they became the size of bacteria and people came down with Chinese disease, brought on by actual Chinese.
