My absolute favorite Western, Val Kilmer was Doc Holliday and should have had a Best Supporting Oscar for that performance alone.

Much better than Dennis Quaid’s in the Costner movie, although it was good.

Actually, Doc Holliday was from Atlanta, Georgia. And Val Kilmer nailed that antebellum accent so superbly...it’s an accent you don’t hear often anymore. Southern accents today have more twang and less posh.
