Uh, I thought he lived at home. Way to be on top of things pops. 'Specially with those tightened up gun laws in OR huh. Let's see, no convictions, passed bgc, laid money on counter. Can't figure that one out.

Right thinking Americans: why do we have “gun free zones” which are defenseless zones against criminals?

I don’t understand why this mother gave a nut job access to guns. This is like the Sandy Hook shooter.

Pops has been out of the picture for a number of years - divorced.

Where did the 26 yo get the money to buy 13 guns?

How does the father know the gubmint didn’t plant all those guns in his son’s room? Hmmm? Oh yeah and NEVER question what REALLY happened at Twin Peaks, too. So many shootings during the rein of Fraud Barack, so little time!

Hey Dad, how many folks could your son have killed with a car?

Did you teach him to drive?

People kill people, using a variety of weapons.

I think the mother and father were separated or divorced.

Meanwhile, why should 100 million+ law-biding gun owners in this country have any restrictions on the number of firearms they own?

This punk graduated from a school for troubled teens in Torrance, California.

This “father” should have straightened out his own screwed up kid instead of trying to take away the Constitutional rights of hundreds of millions of Americans who had nothing to do with his wack job son’s crimes.

"How on Earth could he compile 13 guns? How can that happen?" asked Ian Mercer, the father of Christopher Harper-Mercer,

Better questions, Dad: "How could MY SON do this and how can I ever apologize enough to his victims' families??? "

How was it so easy to spawn and raise a monster who kills innocent people?

Hey Mercer’s “Dad”. Look in a mirror then ask yourself how junior could have done this.

If Chris paid attention to his spawn, WE wouldn’t have to have heartache like this. It ain’t the guns, it’s the punk.

My Pops told us “Teach your sons to be godly men.”
What did Chris’s father teach him?
Much, much more like this is on the way.

>>13? Had that many before I was 20 and that was MANY moons ago.

A British anti-gunner brings his son here and raised him up to be a psychotic mass murderer and he has the nerve to blame America and its gun laws? They ought to deport the heartless crumpet eater.

Has anyone seen a face pic of the mom? I have not. I read that Laurel Harper, the killer’s mom, was similar to Nancy Lanza, mother of Adam Lanza, the Sandy Hook School killer. Both mothers were gun collectors, who stored multiple weapons around the house, in spite of their sons’ having severe and obvious mental disorders and anger management issues. Laurel often bragged online at Facebook about her stockpile of handguns and assault rifles. I can imagine she would wish to hide her face now, after the murderous facts.

So his father is a liberal POS. Big surprise the son was so screwed up. Maybe he should’ve taken him to church a time or two.

Message to libs: Raise your kids without a moral foundation, people, and this kind of thing is what you get. Doesn’t matter whether you’re in the inner city or the suburbs.

How is it so easy to get indoctrinated by a force responsible for so much death, disease and suffering in schools?

But liberalism is still legal. Change the laws governing liberals and people with guns will no longer be a problem for anyone.

Seriously, THAT IS HIS QUESTION!

How about, why didn’t I get him mental help...he was my son, I, of all people should have known he had screws loose and was dangerous. How is a gun shop suppose to know he was NUTS when his own father didn’t recognize the symptoms?

Shocker, he is blaming the guns instead of his mentally sick son! The father looks like an enabler to me.

The “father” knows very little about his “son”.

That’s what happens when the father is absent.

Questions for “Ian,” the killer’s “father.”

Where were you? How and why did you bail out on the boy’s development?

Were you proud of your son when he failed to complete Basic Training in the Army?

Don’t ask the question “how could he own so many weapons?”
You can be blamed for a part of this tragedy.
