Yes Obama was/is the problem.
It was Boehner’s job to get in front of cameras and remind us.
I was hoping from the title that it meant “Why *Getting* Boehner Mattered”.
No such luck.
What Boehner and the others should have done was take 0bama’s bluff whenever he threatened to veto a certain bill that arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania did not like because it was not going his way. The same thing goes for McConnell.
Is there anyone who thinks it will continue if the Republicans take the White House?
They use this as an excuse, but Senate Republicans voted for cloture on virtually every piece of bad legislation Harry Reid brought to the floor. How does this even matter?

I guess Obama only having to use his veto pen four times is great success to this dim witted imbecile.
While we may not have had the votes to prevail in the face of vetoes, the ONE THING he never explains is why were the Republicans PROTECTING THE DEMOCRATS from having to cast votes to support the President (example: make them vote in favor of dismembering babies). Some of us would like to understand that.
In all my decades of following politics, I have yet to see the Democrats ever PROTECT the Republicans from hard votes, nor should they have.
Can someone actually say that we were better off when Harry Reid was majority leader of the Senate?
