I keep reading and hearing that but question its validity based on all the Europeans who came to this country both during and after WW-II..........
Including my parents and grandparents. Maybe the WWII number is smaller than we think?

I really don't know but Detroit is a prime example of being a melting pot of European immigrants when you look at Hamtramck which was settled by the Polish, the further east side being home for Italians, Oak Park for the Jews.....etc.
Some people don’t understand that most countries don’t just open up the door and invite anybody that wants to walk in. Those who think we should allow all of Mexico to enter need to check out what it takes to emigrate from this country to Mexico. It ain’t easy.
