Yeah, the only thing with a worse track record than cold fusion is hot fusion, which has spent 100's of billions of dollars with no practical result, and is still 50 years away.

.......and will remain 50 years away as long as the government grants keep coming to fund 'research' for post grads.................

FReeper Thackney reminded me yesterday that there is still research and tax payer money being thrown at hot fusion. I actually thought it had been abandoned and was not paying any attention to it. Very little progress with billions down that rat hole.
