Interesting Reuters poll today. Trump up to 32.8 but Yeb with a huge leap over the weekend from 10-15 now tying him with Ben. Rubio and Fiorino are much lower here. So we have a continuing convergence with Trump at the top in Morning Consult, Reuters, and PPP, but Yeb all over the place in a variety of polls, from a low of 4 in Pew to a high here of 15. There is no known reason for Yeb to be this high other than perhaps there's a manipulation going on with the GOPe to prop up Yeb's fundraising since he had been cratering.

Another interesting thing to note is that Ben does much poorer in the online tracking polls than he does in the landline/cell polls. There may be some credence to LS and SamAdams point that Carson is a parking lot for Trump voters and we are seeing this in people's selections in the anonymity of a computer versus talking to a pollster. Either way, the narrative that Trump is collapsing is a myth. Another pathetic media attempt exposed. Apologize for the sloppy post. On an iPhone on a bus in Manhattan. Have a great evening everyone! Make America Great Again!

To hear the report from Fox News you would think he is down to 3%.

Yes to all, excellent points and assessments...

Yeb is being dangled still as the “safe” choice for crossover Democrats as Trump is too vocal, no way to script him

Pollsters are desperate to change the narrative but the rest of the world is not cooperating.

Reuters finally broke the silence and Trump is still Trump and not leaving...

Get Ready cause here WE come!!

Sic Semper Tyrranus! (Death to Tyrants)

Unfortunately most Dems and LIVs respond like dogs to a whistle rather than think logically while not depriving anyone else of their rights...

And the GOV can stay the Hell out of it!

Questions about Carson’s fundraising and campaign expenses will be raised after his 3rd Quarter filing is released.

He raised $20 million dollars but he has an extremely high burn rate.

It will be interesting so see how much of the $20 million he raised is still in the bank.

Everything the political experts with their whiteboards and policies are doing only increases Trumps popularity. The latest McCarthy gaff(?) and Biden’s crass use of his dead son are classic examples of what is systemically wrong with the politics and the political class in this country. Real Americans are fed up to the gills.

That poll is worthless. They have Cruz down to 3.8% and Rand Paul at 4% pus. No way Jebcito is at 15% Many other anomalies.

Jeb has a breaking scandal. Getting paid $50k by his parent’s church for a speech on September 30th 2014 that he most likely never gave:

Great tool by Reuters!

When using the demo sorting tools I noticed this VER IMPORTANT data:

trump polls at 30% amongst Republican mean, and 36% amongst Republican women.

Who saw THAT coming?

President Trump’s Cabinet

Jefferson Sessions as Vice President

Department of State, (return INS.) – Donald Rumsfeld
Department of Justice – Rep. Steve King
Department of Treasury, (includes former Homeland Security - Customs) – Carl Icahn (Offered and Accepted)
Department of War, (change the name back.) – Gen. James Mattis
Department of Interior, (includes legitimate functions only of former Transportation, Homeland Security - Border Patrol, and Energy Departments) – Gov. Palin
Department of Health and Human Services (include the VA function.) – Dr. Ben Carson

Department of Labor and Commerce – ELIMINATE
Department of Homeland Security – ELIMINATE
Department of Education – ELIMINATE as proposed by The Donald, 9/23/25 at a Columbia, SC Town Hall with Sen. Tim Scott.
Department of Energy – ELIMINATE
Department of Housing and Urban Development – ELIMINATE
Department of Veterans Affairs - ELIMINATE
Department of Agriculture – ELIMINATE
Department of Transportation - ELIMINATE

This proposed model has the President directly managing seven subordinates which is optimal.

In non-cabinet level jobs

Sheriff Clarke should be FBI Director
Michelle Bachman as IRS Commissioner under Secretary Carl Icahn in Treasury
Admiral James A. “Ace” Lyons as Undersecretary of War - Navy Branch.
LTC Allen West as Undersecretary of War – Army Branch.
Lynnette “Diamond” Hardaway and Rochelle “Silk” Richardson would be great as President Trumps Co-Press Secretaries.

In Congress lets have Trey Gowdy as Speaker of the House,
and Ted Cruz as Senate Majority Leader.

They have to ‘bump’ up Bush’s numbers, so he won’t be embarrassed by having to sit at the low-percenters’ table.

GOPe needs him on the main stage.

Saw the the Donald’s support of Kelo on Fox with Brett, it is more than dis-heartening, it’s outright dangerous.
He needs to get right with this of he will lose a huge bunch of supporters.

Thanks. Was at an event last weekend and it is clear that the "religious" voters, now that Santorum and Huck are pretty much out, have moved behind Carson (interestingly, not Cruz). The "constitutional" voters, who are more traditional GOP purists (i.e., as the party is supposed to be) are behind Cruz. There was not much observable support there for Fiorina, even among the 110 college students I spoke to.

It's still kind of amazing how people's main objection to Trump is his "brashness" or they are afraid (there's that word again!) that "he'll say the wrong thing."

So I think we are really seeing our party/movement breaking down into two camps: those who are finally ready to fight the way the Dems do and those who still want to play by the Maquis of Queensbury rules and who are still beholden to the media for guidance.

My experience has been that everybody likes Carson BUT no one is voting for him. Whereas with Jeb! no one likes him AND no one is voting for him.
My theory on Carson’s strength in the polls is that these are people who are caught up in Trump’s gravitational field — they just can’t bring themselves to admit they support Trump.
So the question is what will ultimately happen with these folks...
