Trump has done all of us who mistakenly thought Faux News was really “fair and balanced” a great big favor. They are just the “house organ” for the GoPee. Rupert claps his hands and the on-air “organ grinders monkeys” do what they are told. Just hoping now that America One News Network can fill the void.
This is completely fatuous. The issue is not the existence of eminent domain, it is the abuse of it. Like the Kelo decision.
Like other situation where one person’s private property is taken, not for a true “public use” but to benefit another private party who is more favored by the ruling gov’t officials.
FReepers used to be against Kelo-style abuse. Then Trump happened.
I watched Special Report last night for the first time in a couple of weeks, simply because Trump was on. Watching the panel at the end, I remarked to my wife that I was sure Baier, Krauthammer and Hays would be voting BUSH in the Virginia primary. Liasson, of course would be voting for Hillary.
It is not encouraging that the conservative base can not seem to bring FOX News to heel, for trying to kill democracy and instead to lobby viewers for a total reliance on media selection of our nominee.

Eminent Domain issue has the same mis-used words, and “nuanced” arguments models of the “Immigration” debate.
Substitute “Illegal/Legal” with “Use/Benefit” and you get the picture.
KELO was bad law in many ways.
Public “Use” is VERY different from public “Benefit”.
Justly compensated eminent domain takings for a highway, a public school, a public hospital are part of the constitution.
Taking private property by force of law and awarding it to another private party is eminent domain abuse, more particularly “Theft”. Kelo was government theft.
There is a big difference between using emminent domain to build a public road and using it to build a private parking lot. It is this aspect that many of us object to.
