Duncan Hunter is a good guy. He may be wrong on this issue. If we target everyone for one error will we be left with anyone?

My guess is that all these people are on the take. Ex-Im Bank is just a giant slush fund for the rich.

The Import/Export Bank was a money maker to the tune of $675M per year, so I am shocked that we, the right, wanted to get rid of it without having a private bank lined up to continue it. For one, it leveled the playing field for Boeing, where it competes with Airbus on the global market. Airbus is so beyond govt subsidized that it won the tanker contract with the US Air Force.

His name was the only name I recognize. He may be right on some issues, but for him to conspire with Nancy Pelosi negates all respect I had for him. Time for him to go, along with these 41 other RINOS.

Look past your heart and calmly reflect on why he is doing this, as well as the others in defiance when so many see it as a piggy bank of dark sorts...

Choose...

95 percent of them are not really conservative at the end of the day.

Only a few have challenged Boehner and meant it and that traditionally has not been enough to remove him.

95 percent or more support leadership in the House like Duncan Hunter and the much talked about Renee Elmers and Tom Marino from my state, who are on this list.

I would let this go. I do not know his specific situation, but some are stuck supporting it because of the issues in their district. There are issues worth writing a candidate off for, but this is not one of them.

Hunter's district is in California, a BIG beneficiary of the bank. He may be listening to his constituents as much as to donors. Jesse Helms voted for tobacco subsidies for the same reason.

“House Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling is a fierce opponent of Ex-Im. Hensarling issued a statement Friday saying:

Signing a discharge petition puts the minority in charge and effectively makes Nancy Pelosi the Speaker of the House. At a time when our Republican Conference is divided, this will divide it even further. Signing a discharge petition – regardless of the issue – gives the Democrats control over our agenda. That’s why they are so eager to sign it.”

RINOs want what they want.

" If we target everyone for one error will we be left with anyone?"

Depends on the magnitude of the error, of course.
THIS error is pretty effing big: siding with Nancy Pelosi...

Duncan must have some big corporate campaign donors leaning hard on him.

I am not surprised there are 7 from PA, what I am surprised is Bill Shuster is not on that list.

It is not necessarily donors. Are some of the companies benefiting from the Bank located in his district.

I imagine districts where Boeing is located would have a hard time getting the rep or senator to not support the bank, for example. It is not just the company but the workers. They get very afraid of losing their jobs. Granted, they need to find another way other than using public funds, but still, the reps in those districts are actually often representing the people of their district and not just the company. To punish an otherwise good congressman for that seems self defeating. Their replacement will likely be no different.

Reichert (WA8) - Between the Boeing plants in S Seattle, Renton, and Everett ... with a good size number of constituents that work at Boeing, is not on the list, which is amazing, because he is a RINO on many issues.
