He is well schooled in only producing gaffes, but not leaking sensitive info.
He is a known factor for the power machine without his own agenda like the others.
Jarrett et al. know where has been, what he has done, and can use him like a cheap puppet--which is exactly what those behind the curtain want.
I will be surprised if he does not get the nomination.

He routinely tells lies about his wife's death for sympathy: claiming the truck driver that broadsided her car was drunk. The truck driver wasn't, and the state police cleared him of any fault despite pressure from Biden.
It was a tragedy, but all evidence pointed to Biden's wife unexpectedly pulling out in front of the truck. The truck driver's daughter has been quoted that he suffers from PTSD after the accident, and Biden's lies make it worse.

When in the Senate, Biden was on the Intelligence committee. He reportedly threatened to go to the press and tell all if he didn't get his way -- multiple times.
The truth is: Biden is VP only because Obama wanted him as his "firewall": no one would dare suggest impeaching Obama as long as Biden was next in line. Nixon did the same thing with Agnew, and admitted it. That's why Agnew was removed from office first.
