I am not completely endorsing what this Rabbi says, but posting for anyone that might be interested, as many biblical experts see the war prophesied in Ezekiel 38 and 39 coming to fruition with today's headlines.

Doesn't sound so good for the United States. However, we are ripe for God's judgment.

Our "Sequestered" and leadership decapitated military is a shadow of what it was 7 years ago, while Russia and China have been increasing their might exponentially during the same time frame.

We have descended into immoral madness, and have betrayed Israel.

Most prophecies are contingent; G-d always has the option to alleviate His judgment.

Jonah prophesied that Nineveh would fall. He didn't say "if you continue to sin," he didn't say "unless you repent." He just up and said that the city would fall. But the people repented (in a fashion) and it didn't.
