George P. says Jeb’s on track. Yes, really (Also, George P. skipped work AGAIN last week)

By World Series time in 1999, George W. Bush was polling at 60 percent in his first race for the Republican presidential nomination.

Today, Jeb Bush is closer to 6.

Since the Rangers, the Houston Astros and the Chicago Cubs are all in the baseball playoffs the same year, we know anything is possible.

But nobody would say Bush is in good shape — except somebody on the same team.

“I think this is the position [where] he’s always wanted to be,” son George P. Bush said last week.

He said it with a straight face.

-snip-

George P. Bush has been criticized for missing about a week’s work campaigning. But Dad will need him to campaign more, particularly in Texas and among veterans.

He’s got to make Dad look good.

Who is nowhere in the same category as his brother.

Hard to claim your campaign is on track when you’re polling 6%.

¡Yeb! The Joyful Tippy-toes Disrupter Tortoise

The citizens do not wish to give up the rule of law or give their country to fraudulently documented foreigners.

Try running for President in the country you love instead of trying to turn our country into North Mexico

Sadly because he is hispanic and a Bush, el Pendejo will someday be Texas Governor or U.S. Senator. For some reason, many Texans have a blind spot for the Arbusto dynasty.

Words can't describe how much I hate the entire Bush family, and always have.

America would be so much better off if exiled the entire Bush and Clinton clans to a deserted island, as Augustus used to do.

George P is also trying to loot the Alamo and take control of the artifacts that are held by the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. He hates our state and our history.

Is Texas Land Commissioner an unpaid position, an honorarium, sinecure or political `launching pad’ of some kind?
If not, why do Texans put up with him? He seems to spend more time campaigning for his Joyful Turtle pater than working.

If he’s elected, impeach him! Don’t be shy, Texans—like Arizonans or South Carolinians ....

Land Commissioner is a paid full time position and P. should pay back the State Treasury for all of the days of work he has skipped since taking office.

Agree completely. It’s the same as stealing from the taxpayers.
If a land commissioner isn’t needed, why not abolish the position?
But this is the way we conservatives think, not our GOP-e Overlords.

"George P. says Jeb's 'on track'". I think he mis-spoke. Maybe he meant "on crack?" The Jebster has to be high or mentally defective to think that the GOP base will vote for him, and even crazier to think he'd win a general election.

Winning was never the point.
The sole purpose of nominating ¡Yeb! is to block us from electing anyone who would stop The Cheap Labor Express.

He's as "Dippy" as the rest of them. JEB should give the party and the country a break and quit. Stop pissing your money away and wasting our time, Jebby.

P probably realizes that, if Daddy goes down, his (P's) chances for a run in a decade or so diminish exponentially.

“Agree completely. It’s the same as stealing from the taxpayers.”

George W. Bush was similarly absent from National Guard service working on political campaigns.

And how much time has Linda, Cruz, Rubio and the rest of the candidates who are making big bucks working? Not hardly at all unless you count eating at a fair working.
