LAS VEGAS — Hundreds of journalists declined to stand during the national anthem at the Democratic debate at the Wynn Las Vegas, with only 20 out of nearly 400 rising from their seats, some recognizable from conservative media outlets.
There are differing views as to the proper convention for a televised national anthem, though some suggest that when the anthem is played at a public event, even on television, those present should stand–even if they are observers.

Remember when CNN’s Bernie Shaw got back from Baghdad and refused to be debriefed by our intel people, claiming that this would “violate his neutrality and objectivity”? Remember the outcry over how strange and disloyal that was?

They played that for the home audience to see, those locally at the event didn’t care.
Time-Lies-Warner-Turner-CNN refused to broadcast the torture and abuse and human rights violations that were going on in Iraq so that CNN could maintain their Baghdad bureau.
Says a lot about the state of America’s elites...
