The Chapman University Survey of American Fears, Wave 2 (2015) provides an unprecedented look into the fears of average Americans. In April of 2015, a random sample of 1,541 adults from across the United States were asked their level of fear about eighty-eight different fears across a huge variety of topics ranging from crime, the government, disasters, personal anxieties, technology and many others.
Top Fear Domains, 2015
Each fear question asks Americans to rate their level of fear on a scale ranging from 1 (not afraid) to 4 (very afraid). The average score for each domain of fear provides insight into what types of fear are of greatest concern to Americans in 2015.

Weren't we told by the nations' gun grabbing Socialists that everyone wants something -Anything - To be done - about all those guns going out and shooting people?

How much airtime will be dedicated to discussions about this contravening of the current gun grabber narrative?

So basically fear of Liberalism. Because that’s whats behind all those fears.

Isn’t it time to get to the core problem? And talk openly about it?

Yes, it’s fear of the creeping tyranny of the Left’s Socialist national agenda.

My point in highlighting those results is that there are many more who fear the government than they fear guns...

But you won’t hear many talk about it.

I think it has to so with the mind’s ‘survival mechanism’. Basically the actual problem/issue/fear is so overwhelming that most people simply refuse to address it. The brain just shuts the scope of it out. They take a bit sized issue and deal with that.

The problem with that, natural as it may be to do, is that you can’t cut a head off a hydra and kill it.

Drudge had a piece on the spread between who 'the people' thought won the democrat debate (Sanders) - and who journalists thought won (Hillary)..

This could be the same kind of thing... 'The people' don't fear the same things as the MSM. This story would be a surprise to journalists - but a 'yeah of course' thing to citizens..

Yea but for most people in America, they would never equate the two. They aren’t smart enough thanks to liberals in education. They hear gun control and think “never happen” or “great idea”.

Remember, we live in a bubble here. We see clearly what most can’t imagine. Because we know history. Most no longer learn it in school.

Keep in mind that it always seem like Socialism goes hand in hand with Gun control.

Because you can’t exactly steal people’s property with a monopoly on the use of force.

The #NationalSocialistMedia is just as out of touch as the Politicians - on both sides.
