Dog is eaten in most Asian nations, even the ‘civilized’ countries. It is considered a delicacy in the Philippine Islands, for example.<
So he stated the truth, they do eat dog. So do some Phiipinos and my friend who was in China recently said they had dog on the menu of some restaurants he ate in. so why retract the truth.

Why was it OK for Obama to joke about eating dog at the White House correspondents dinner a few years ago?? But this comment by Huckabee provokes outrage?? Why the difference???

I had a South Korean friend who told me quite openly that dog is a common menu item there. He joked that his landlady here in the States eyed him nervously whenever he petted her Labrador Retriever.
The North Korean military lowered its minimum height requirement to 4 feet 7 inches. Socialism is working out so well for them that they can’t feed their own people. Those jerks wish they had dogs to eat.
Our previous offices had an associated restaurant. Whenever “chicken chow mein” was featured, the usual large kit of pigeons completely disappeared from the courtyard
