(one thing, the pigeons were very intelligent....
and they mate for life
and they mate their opposite sexes, too
and they look out for each other in their kits
I came across a pigeon bleeding from the head, had been attacked by a human being or some other mean predator type
he wouldn’t let me take him to the vet, so all I could do was give him some 21-grain bread in hopes some healthy food would help him recover
his entire community surrounded him and LET HIM EAT the bread, they did not take it from the wounded bird
and the community then stayed on guard watch, too
We always call it, "chicken chow meow".
