It took the Catholic Church hundreds of years of propagandizing in Europe about the Jewish problem before the continent acted on it. It’s nothing different here and the results won’t be any different.
You can’t be serious; if it wasn’t for Catholics there wouldn’t be a Jewish soul left in Europe. Catholic Italy never rounded up Jews (though the Germans did when they took control of Italy following Mussolini’s overthrow), and Ultra-Catholic Spain provided a safe haven for countless Jews. Oskar Schindler himself was Catholic.
Catholics themselves suffered under Nazism, and then had the added benefit of the purge under communism.
