I have similar but not identical numbers

My monthly medicare advantage premiums rose from $33 to $39 or 18%

But my maximum out of pocket decreased from $6,700 to $5900 or 13%

There is no logic that I can see but the numbers are numbers

there are other increases to co pays for hospital stays etc

Many of the coverages have gone from a dollar figure to a percentage - most to 20%. (See my post 21 for some of my plan details.)
What I don't get - if Medicare alone covers about 80% of my medical costs, why am I (we) paying an Advantage plan premium and still being charged 20% for some services?
It's as if my Advantage plan isn't actually covering that service.
