Ted Cruz Easily Wins 603 Alliance Caucus
WMUR-TV, New Hampshire ^ | October 17, 2016 | John DiStaso

I have just returned from this event, which was great fun!

Just a quick note, though, that the author of this article is almost certainly incorrect in saying that Carly came in second, and Carson came in third. There were many, many Carson supporters there, but only a handful of Carly supporters. I know this because we Cruz supporters were forced to use their (Carly's) space for our overflow of Cruz attendees!

Yeah, you go ahead and think that. That is why he is generally at 6%, and you know it.

Whatever Theo. Call me when Cruz edges out Carson. People so far would rather have Carson than Cruz.

We have heard it all before, sacrifice your values to appeal to the valueless moderates.

Yup, its exactly the same excuse used by John Boehner and Mitch McConnell to screw conservatives every single time.

On twitter I'm currently being flooded with moderate to outright liberal comments that Trump is my only hope. Its like someone flipped a switch and turned the morons on all at once.

Would love to see Cruz steamroller to the nomination and achieve a Reaganesque landslide in November. Life would be good again. And I mean it, I'm not being flip.

However, Cruz is basically stuck at 6 per cent in virtually every poll I see. Yes, it's a kick in the stomach for anybody who wants to see a pure conservative in the White House. Myself included. We are not even going to see Cruz nominated if this keeps up.

I hope Cruz is able to get beyond that 6 per cent base and find a path to the nomination. I also hope I wake up in the morning 21 years old again with a million dollars in the bank.

The latter is probably more likely to happen.

Nobody is perfect. But Cruz is as close as we can get this election cycle.

I would certainly vote for Cruz if he got the nomination, which, objectively speaking, is extremely unlikely.

And yes, nobody's perfect. In fact most candidates have many qualities we can't stand - including Ronald Reagan. There are things I DESPISE about Donald Trump.

A few of the reasons I'm for him at this point:

- He's the only candidate who is not being funded by our political enemies in the donor class and on Wall St.

- He has the BEST 2nd amendment plan any of us have ever seen - a NATIONAL RIGHT TO CARRY for crying out loud

- He has the best tax plan.

- He has, by far, the best immigration plan.

- He is smashing to pieces the incestuous anti-American, anti-individual edifice constructed the establishment, the left and their media quislings.

If Cruz doesn’t get the nod what a great Senate majority leader he would make to replace spineless Scarecrow Mitch. Find a speaker in the House similar to Cruz and then we’re rolling.

Do you think NH will go GOP this election or will they hang with the Dems?

I was there today, my first caucus, it was fun!

Senator Cruz was there and made a point of going through the stands of the barn it was held in and personally thanking the Cruz supporters for showing up. All candidates or their representatives were given a chance to address the crowd. Only Ted was there in person and he did not disappoint.

Cruz, Carson, and Fiorina were the three finalists. Carly lost the next round and came in third. Dr. Carson had a very good turnout but Ted carried the day.

There was a New Zealander (I believe it was Trevor Louden) who also gave an impassioned speech about the importance of America to freedom in the world and the importance of this upcoming election. He drew a parallel between the churches in 1930’s Germany doing little or nothing to oppose Hitler, and Christians in America sitting on their hands while Obama was elected twice, and of course we know the result. He stressed this election may be our last chance to save the country, and by extension, the free world. He stressed that enough Christians had to get out to overcome the voter fraud we know will be happening.

For someone who is at 6% as you say, you are posting on all his threads to talk him down. Either you are foolish, or he is not a weak candidate.

Trump will not win the general. He is too old, and he opens his mouth and his brain is given a vacation.

Sorry, but you are just wrong. You will find that out soon.

Age is a plus, not a minus.

Too old? He's no older than Ronald Reagan was back in 1980. And we all know the classic line Reagan used against Mondale in 1984 about "youth & inexperience." Also, there are several other candidates in this race that are even older than Trump.

I'm almost 15 years younger than Trump and I wish I had his energy.
