I have been saying the polls have been focused upon his support in the gop primaries. What has been overlooked is he is garnering support from traditional dem franchises. Interestingly a Teamster called Rush this week and noted many of his cohorts are verbally supporting Trump. This is so because of two reasons: Trump is the one who voiced blue collar concerns consistently from the get go. The second is the lack of support her thighness has in these same precincts.

It was support from traditional dems which pushed Nixon over the top in 68 and support Reagan got in his elections IMO. Meanwhile, the GOPe continues to run away from him because he is not of the country club set albeit he owns a bunch of them.
If they had their way, they would run Romney/Bush/Rockerfeller/Henry Lodge styled candidates forever.

It’s pretty clear that all the dim candidates care about is giving free crap to illegals and stripping more rights from American citizens.

I well recall the "hardhat rebellion" that supported Nixon, and of course the Reagan democrat was historic. American labor rank and file took the benefits that unions provided them, but never warmed up that much to the elite left, despite pressure from their degenerate and corrupt leaders. The Left has been frustrated and baffled by this for generations. Now in Trump they once again have a leader that speaks their language. No surprise that they would unapologetically support him.
