A federal appeals court on Monday upheld the core provisions of two gun control laws passed in New York and Connecticut after the 2012 mass murder at Sandy Hook Elementary School that banned possession of semiautomatic assault weapons.
The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York upheld the bans on semiautomatic weapons and large-capacity magazines, but struck down a New York provision regulating load limits and a Connecticut prohibition on the non-semiautomatic Remington 7615.
New York and Connecticut's gun control measures, among the strictest in the nation, were signed into law after a gunman killed 26 children and staff at the school in Newtown, Connecticut, in December 2012.

This will be overturned by the Supreme Court if it ever gets there.
Unless Shrillary gets into office and appoints more lib judges. If that happens, not only will the Supreme Court be eager to take up such a case, they would use it as a vehicle to reverse Heller and McDonald.

This SCOTUS seems controlled by the POTUS, who will make upholding the ban on semi-autos an absolute priority.
So how are these laws working for out for the respective states? We know they’ve had little success in on the registration, so where is the enforcement? What, no one wanting to start knocking on the doors?

If a Dem wins look for the next couple of SCOTUS terms to become an expressway for reversed decisions.

Time for the people of this country to stop relying on a corrupt judiciary to remedy bad (unconstitutional) legislation.
Large scale civil disobedience is the only remedy when we have a corrupt judiciary. Refusal to obey unconstitutional laws on a large scale will shake the tree.
Which, although the MSM will not report it, is already happening on some of these anti 2A gun laws.
It’s time to start buying more hi-cap mags - and begin burying them. They will be in huge demand for what will inevitably result from this tyranny.
No need. There will be plenty on the ground and in the case of PMags, they won’t rust away.
Connecticut’s law infringes on the individual, God-given right to keep and bear arms. It is unconstituitonal. The sooner it is overturned, the better, but there is no moral obligation to obey an unjust law. Obedience is a choice, based on a rational cost-benefit analysis or based on fear of the thugs in office. Nothing more.
CT’s semi auto ban is so stupidly written that full auto guns are legal but must _not_ have a semi auto mode.
