Besides, what good is a Republican majority when they take their direction from Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi? That is essentially why Republicans lost the majorities they had with Bush. There are almost no conservatives in DC, no matter how many we send there.

You seem to think something extraordinary is going on that will cause your scenario of MASS under-voting unparalleled in American electoral history that could create your kooky scenario of MASSIVE democrat gains in Congress despite them losing the Presidency. I assure you nothing that extraordinary is going on. I guess you’re gonna be in for a surprise when over half of those Senate races aren’t even closely contested.

You and other people who might be inclined to vote for Trump and leave the rest of the ballot blank are not representative of the American people, most Republican voters, most conservatives, or dare I suggest even most freepers. Most Republican voters will be voting....Republican. And most swing voters don’t know who the congressional leaders you dislike so much even are. I doubt the this current Speakership fracas will have an appreciable effect on the election.

Back to reality now, Hillary could win by 20 points (and worst-case I have trouble seeing her win by more than 10) and the odds aren’t much worse that you will win the big lotto jackpot than the odds of the democrats gaining 19 Senate seats.

Change that to a Trump/whoever victory of 1 point and I’d say that maybe the odds are better that everyone posting on this thread will hit the jackpot along with all their brothers and sisters than of the democrats gaining 19 Senate seats. I’m no math genius so maybe my estimate there is off but bottom line, not possible, this according to any voting patterns in the history of this country or any other.

Talk radio fans intense feelings about the current Republican congressional leaders is not a force so strong that it will come remotely close to radically altering the course of human events to the preposterous level you suggest.

And as for “what difference does it make”, if you don’t see ANY difference between the current Congress and a 2/3+ democrat Congress, I don’t even know what to tell you. That Congress would impeach and remove Trump and his Vice President on charges of “racism” or something and make Pelosi President. THAT Congress would end this country.
