David Campos, a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, appeared on MSNBC to talk about the sanctuary city status of San Francisco and violent recidivist illegal immigrants like Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, the man accused of murdering 32-year-old Kathryn Steinle in the city in July. Campos was appointed to his position by former San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom. Newsom is now the Lt. Governor of California.

Campos seemingly defended Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez by laying some of the blame at the feet of federal law enforcement for allowing the gun to get into his hands.

Campos is an amnestied illegal.

“David Campos was born in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala.[3] His father was a meteorologist.[4] His family first tried to cross the border when David was 11, but they were caught and deported. Around 1983, his father made it across the border and went to Los Angeles, where he became a carpenter.[5] In 1985, at age 14, with his mother and two sisters, he fled Guatemala and emigrated to the United States.[6] Campos graduated at the top of his class at Jefferson High School in South Central Los Angeles.[3] He earned scholarships and admissions to Stanford University, from which he graduated in 1993 with a degree in political science.[6] While attending Harvard Law School from 1993 to 1996, Campos became a permanent resident of the United States[6] and met his partner, Phil Hwang. They married in 2014.”

The gun did not do the killing, the murderer did. Typical Leftist, political dogma over everything

Big surprise that SF politicians lay the blame on the victim. Of course, they wouldn't do such is she were a lesbian or so-called trans-gender or some person of color.

San Francisco used to be an international tourist attraction. With their sick LGBT parades through their streets, I wonder what that has done to their tourism.

I used to love that city in 60's and 70's. Now they are a cesspool of liberal/socialist/quasi-communist intolerance. San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley can rot in the toilet they have created for themselves. Unfortunately, they have inordinate power in the capitol of Sacramento which has power over us conservatives in Orange County and other counties.

OK, I'll buy into that "logic" (for just a moment) - let's disarm all federal law enforcement officers...and, by extension, all state officers, too (including the ones that guard Campos).

The gun was just lying there until that guy picked it up. Had he left it laying there the shooting would not have happened.

* Murder by Illegal Immigrant “Political Pinata,” Where Is Outrage Over Gun? *

Remember back during WWII when people said that the Nazi killing millions was a “Political Pinata,” Where Is Outrage Over Lugers?

...neither do I.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Pol Pot had a couple of million people hacked to death with garden tools. Where is the outrage over the hoes?

This is what the corrupt in DC and the states do. When it’s convenient, the feds play the blame the states, or the states blame the Fed. Good cop bad cop con-game. They all do it as America continues to have it’s freedoms and taxes looted.

Pol Pot had a couple of million people hacked to death with garden tools.

He had execution squads of teens go around with little blue plastic bags in their belt. They'd place one over the victim's head and suffocate them - cheaper and quieter that way. Just the sight of those blue bags terrified people.
