by 2025! way to make a bold statement....NOT!
A victory for sandwich lovers is having a nearby alternative to Subway. Jersey Mike’s comes to mind. I would most certainly welcome a nearby Chick-Fil-A as well.
Maybe Subway could try, well, putting a little meat in their sandwiches? All I could ever taste was the big pile of veggies they cram in those things. Not a fan of Subway.
A DECADE???? Stop it now.
Yep.
And if Subway ever wants me to darken their door again, they’ll dissociate from Michelle Obama and her fascist food rules.
They will remove that last slice of meat from their subs. Voila! problem solved.
to reduce the transmission of antibiotics, subway will reduce the meat content of the sandwiches
So let me get this straight,we are able to have hen houses that provide for 300 million plus people at a reasonable price for a delicious protein and flocks remain healthy BECAUSE of these medicinal aids AND even though we just went through a huge culling of the flocks because of the potential havoc it could have wreaked...it had no real impact on retail prices...those of you who want to eat free range / drug free birds (much higher cost) do so ...or better still raise your own and go through the process of beheading/gutting/plucking and the clean up ...see if that delicious boneless breast of chicken hits your plate at .99 cents a pound. I am surprised Freepers are on this bandwagon....I am not ...but then again subway sucks(go to a local sub shop)Chic-filet eh (i make better) Mcdee’s is a last resort if on a road trip. I apologize for such a long rant but I for one am grateful for the abundant supply of poultry and the next time I pull out a whole Purdue chicken (from the 15 or so in my freezer)that was on sale at .88 cents a pound at Shaws I will comment “gee does this meat have an antibiotic after taste ?” /s
