I remember hearing Bill Clinton on the radio when he was running for governor of Arkansas.
When asked his political persuasion, He replied that he had some different views but over all he was a conservative. Even back then I knew he was a liar.
Conservative in Arkansas—liberal in Washington.
It’s kind of like: “What happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas.” Only it’s “What happens in Washington, stays in Washington”.
