It's to this group of rule-wielding God defenders alone that He unleashes the full force of His verbal condemnation. And remember, conservative evangelicals, this warning is evergreen. He's still unleashing His disapproval on those of you who continue to do it today: Matt 23:13 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people's faces." 35 "And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth"
Homotheology is growing every single day. People calling themselves Christians are some of the most vociferous proponents of same sex marriage and homosexuality, condemning only those who dare to call sodomy a sin. Starting with Pope Francis and a slew of mega-pastors like Rick Warren and Joel Osteen, Christendom is experiencing a polar shift in its understanding of Biblical morality. To most of the movers and shakers in Christendom there are no longer exclusionary sins, except possibly those who say there are exclusionary sins. Is this the "great falling away" Paul spoke of in 2 Thess 2?
