I agree. As one with a PhD in a real science, I would never expect or want to be referred to as “Doctor”.
I tip my hat to you, doctor! As someone with more letters after my name than the alphabet (OK...combining all degrees and board certifications...) I am always highly amused by those with "honorary doctorates" who insist on using the title, "doctor".
