In the pie chart, what constitutes a childs death by “environmental”?
One thing that I believe has helped decrease those deaths over the past 25 years is the availability of reasonably priced gun safes. For the price of a single decent handgun, one can buy a pretty damned good safe. ( I just wish I’d bought a bigger one! My 24 gun capacity safe barely holds my dozen or so guns and several thousand rounds of ammo) But one would have to be mighty determined to get past a 70 pound dog, unbolt it from the concrete floor in my garage and move a thousand+ pounds.
Another thing, how many of those accidental gun deaths were caused by a semi-auto rifle with high capacity mags?
