This is common and doesn’t mean a thing. Whenever something happens then various terrorist groups want to take credit for it. For them it is looking like a winner. There were 3 separate Muslim terrorist groups who announced to take responsibility for the bombing in Norway by Breivik.

Not in straight and level flight without extreme weather or other external force, not buying it. Too coincidental over enemy territory.

That’s what I suspect. The plane was too high for a MPAD.

The question is who was on board that aircraft that was so important to take out?

That’s why I am now leaning towards this was not ISIS, but probably a Russian Intel guy or General. I have no proof... Just a gut feeling.

Yep, something failed, but the $64,000 questions is why did something fail?

Exactly. Who caused it to fail?

According to that site his flight has landed. Guess he’s reached a decision and has a plan! ;)

Initial flight path was along the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba in order to avoid low-level flight across Indian territory.

Turned left toward Russia when it had to for straight line to St Petersburg.

If it turns out to have been a missile fired by ISIS did Obama supply the more advanced missile to them? He does like to sneak guns to the bad guys.

“The question is who was on board that aircraft that was so important to take out?”

Probably no one. Sharm El Sheik is a cheap and nasty resort and important people wouldn’t go there. Most likely everyone in this plane was poor.

[Or the typical lack of a measurable safety margin built into Russian aircraft?]

Heard on the News a little while ago that the pilot’s wife claims the pilot was complaining about problems with the airplane.

Also, discussion thread of that site states flightaware website said rapid ascent (more than 3000 feet in less thawn a minute) followed by rapid descent until it disappeared off radar.

Sounds like Flight 800. Is the CIA going to whip up another cartoon?

I’m sure the pilots on PanAm 103 thought they had a technical error as they were nose diving into the village of Lockerbie.

"We have had a complete loss of telemetry from the orbiter. Obviously some sort of major malfunction."
