I know a lady not much over 100 pounds and 5’4’’ that took a training course and fired 500 rounds of 45 auto. It is technique and mental attitude not size.

A highly accurate Colt .38 super is hard to beat. Even so I grant you a 40 caliber has a little more oomph.
