I gather you don’t have many Hispanics where you live...
A bodega is a small grocery store, kind of like a mini-mart, especially in a Spanish-speaking neighborhood.
1. (especially among Spanish-speaking Americans) a grocery store.
2. a wine shop.
3. a warehouse for storing or aging wine.
When I lived in Ireland there was a local watering hole called 'Bodega'
