This is the kind of stuff that makes it more likely that your 30% support will remains pretty close to that even after everyone else is gone.
If he looks to narrow the field, he could create a critical mass to oppose him.

One could say it shows that Trump can’t compromise at all. While standing one’s ground is a good thing sometimes in government to reach a consensus there must be a bit of give and take on both sides.In other words, you choose the mountain you want to die on. The issue or issues you are going to remain steadfast on should be important. Compromise on the lesser ones.
I’m going to withhold speculating on what went on. Will be very interesting to find out what happened and what was in that letter that the group intends to present. What was the bone of contention?
