I agree, but he couldn't in any way be worse than Obama. And he would be much more open to input from his advisers.
Headline: Cruz takes lead, Trump drops to third,
Bush drops out.
In a recent poll of Freepers Cruz came in first,
Jim Thompson second and Trump third!
The mainstream media/DNC must fear him seeing how they tried to turn "Bridgegate" into a scandal to rival Watergate.
I find it hard to believe that Carson would beat Clinton by ten points. I guess it could happen, if all the blacks voted for him, coupled with all the white guilters of both parties who would rather see the country totally destroyed so that they can say they aren’t “racist.”
Interesting poll with a lot of information. Trump loses to both Clinton and Sanders, does very poorly among women, has net unfavorable rating, and most people have made up their minds about him. All of that bodes poorly for him, but hey, it’s a nonsense poll so if you’re all-in for Trump, you can ignore it or, better yet, impugn it.
>>Correct me if Iâm wrong, this is the first election in which there has been a kiddie table debate. It is a bad idea, it contributes nothing.<<
This is also the biggest GOP field ever. The “kiddie debate” gave Fiorina a chance (and the others, but they didn’t take advantage of it), so it contributed something. Just don’t watch it; I don’t.
That's what I would like to see. I think those are the two guys with the best potential in the bunch. Cruz, I'm totally sold on. He's exactly what I'm looking for as a social and constitutional conservative. Rubio has a lot of potential, but he still has some question marks I'd like for him to clear up. I rank Cruz ahead on conservatism. I rank Rubio ahead on electability.
And we've had "conservatives" on this website who say Cruz can't beat Hillary.
Trump's not going to be brought down with the spitwads they're shooting at him.
Yet the media-driven chorus of “Cruz can’t win” is still frequently parroted.
I won’t vote for half of those RINOs.
nobody could be worse than Obama.
After all this time and exposure, Trump still can’t beat Clinton. We can’t nominate a candidate who is so obviously unacceptable to most voters. Trumpettes keep telling us Cruz is “too conservative,” unlikable or unelectable, yet poll after poll shows he can beat Hillary while their man can’t.
The conservative mantra is to elect the most conservative candidate who can win. Cruz is more conservative than Trump and he can win, while Trump can’t. Cruz is the only sane choice.
That’s absolute bulls***. Where do you get this? Trump polls better than Cruz against Hillary.
Maybe he can switch to Teddy Cruz. Teddy Roosevelt and Teddy Bears still poll well.
Seriously? You think Bush can compete with Cruz? You’re wrong. I think it’s still true that Cruz has raised more hard money than anyone else. He has the enthusiasm from the base. The voters liked his debate performance better than Rubio’s even though the TV talking head hacks pretended Rubio won.
That would certainly be a win-win for the establishment. But a lose lose for the American people. So I hope things do not go that way.
You mean the Ted Cruz that voted to reauthorize the unconstitutional Patriot Act or the Ted Cruz that voted to give Obama fast track authority to negotiate job killing trade deals or maybe you are thinking of the Ted Cruz that wants a 500% increase in H1B vasas (what does Ted Cruz have against working Americans?) and how about that Amnesty Ted handing out teddy bears and soccer balls to the illegal invaders as they crossed our southern border.
Rubio is a known liar. Do not believe a single word he says.
October 24, 2010 while campaigning for the Senate: "Earned path to citizenship is basically code for amnesty. It's what they call it. And the reality of it is this. This has to do with the bottom line that America cannot be the only country in the world that does not enforce its immigration laws. It is unfair to the people that have legally entered this country to create an alternative pathway for individuals who entered illegally and knowingly did so. And all I'm saying is that if you do that...you will never have a legal immigration system that works. No one is going to follow the law if there is an easier way to do it.
June 27, 2013 as an elected Senator: "Those who once had no hope will give their kids the chance at a life they always wanted for themselves. Here in America, generations of unfulfilled dreams will finally come to pass. And that is why I support this reform (Amnesty)--not just because I believe in immigrants but because I believe in America even more."
