“A Major finding if upheld of Treason agaist both. (IMM)”

Which would be investigated by the FBI and prosecuted by the Justice Department. Both of which report to...

The fundamental flaw in the design of our government was that none of the Founding Fathers believed the president would ever be a traitor. But this isn’t the first time a traitor has held the office. I would submit James Polk, who withdrew supplies and logistics support from the two US armies in Mexico in the hope they would be defeated so he wouldn’t have to face these popular men in an election. They won anyway. Polk, by-the-way was a Democrat.

That’s not where the flaw was. The remedy for a treasonous President is there and many of the framers used it against a Vice-president. Impeach the traitor! What they didn’t consider was that future legislators would be too weak to use it.
