GOP frontrunner Donald Trump lambasted the permanent political class for supporting the Trans-Pacific Partnership free-trade deal, in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News ahead of the next debate.
"The deal is insanity," he said. "That deal should not be supported and it should not be allowed to happen."
The 5,544-page deal is far too long to be understood, said Trump. "Nobody understands it," he said. The "Obamatrade" deal is longer than Obamacare plus the 2013 amnesty bill, authored by 2016 candidate Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)80% and Democratic leader Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY).
"The deal is so bad because of the fact they don't cover currency manipulation," Trump added. "It's the number-one weapon used by foreign countries to hurt the United States and take away jobs."
He also hit the deal as a giveaway to China. "We are giving away what ultimately is going to be a back door for China," he said. "China will take advantage of itâall the weak points in it, more than anybody else," said Trump, who has previously criticized China's manipulation of currency prices. China is not part of the TPP deal, but is widely expected to join in the next few years.

Is that correct?
It’s definitely on my “must miss” list. I’m counting on my fellow freepers to tell me all about it—LOL!
Looks like he’s telegraphing his talking points against Cruz and Carson for this evening.
If Trump, Cruz and Paul are against this they’d better all say so tonight.
And they need to say so in no uncertain terms. “This is insanity” is a good start!
Cruz was for it before he was against it and had he been awake, or less slippery, he would have lambasted allowing fast track to go forward.
Exactly. Thanks a lot, Fast-Track Ted.
Carson is for it. Seems he’s for a lot of things Obama is for.
Congress is going to push this through before a President Trump can stop it. The media paints it as Obama’s fault but it has to go through Congress. They’re like Pilate washing his hands but having been the one to sentence Jesus.
Carson is for it. Seems heâs for a lot of things Obama is for
the color is showing threw
Ryan/Cruz Trade Op-Ed....
PUTTING CONGRESS IN CHARGE ON TRADE
‘Fast track’ authority will give lawmakers more say over agreements that are vital for economic growth.

I don’t, for a minute, believe anything about this “agreement” is vital, for economic growth. Maybe for the elites’ economic growth, but not for We the People.
Chapter 10 of the TPP is INSANITY!!!!
Amnesty is not even as bad. Check it out
There’s enough global money behind this bill that every congressman and senator who votes for it will be able to retire comfortably.
BTTT!
Sessions has been all over this since Day 1.....and absolutely against it.
....which, btw, Cruz not only disagreed with Sessions, but insinuated Sessions didn’t know what he was talking about!
TRUMP/SESSIONS 2016
First of all the vote that make all this possible was the cloture vote on Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) back in April. TPA gave O fast track authority so anyone that vote yea on cloture to TPA effectively vote for TPA and for TPP since TPA enabled TPP. Some like Cruz are trying to have it both ways, voting yea on the legislation that enabled TPP but voting nea on TPP itself. I believe Paul voted no on cloture for TPA and voted no on TPA so Paul has consistently been of the right side of this issue. I don’t know how Rubio voted but since he is GOPe to the core he was probably for TPA and is for TPP.
“The “Obamatrade” deal is longer than Obamacare plus the 2013 amnesty bill, authored by 2016 candidate Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)80% and Democratic leader Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY).”
Got to love Trump. Talk about a slap in the face to Rubio.
Trump needs to speak more agressively against Hillary Clinton and less against his fellow candidates.
This will make him look more like the presumed nominee and more presidential.
Are Santorum and Huckabee okay on trade?
