Missouri protest leader calls for more college teams to 'step up' for justice

COLUMBIA, Missouri — Maxwell Little stood in the bright sunshine, with a crowd of fellow graduate students cheering around him. He was introduced to this gathering Tuesday as one of the early members of Concerned Student 1950, the campus group that ignited the fight against alleged racial injustice here at the University of Missouri which climaxed in the resignation of the president and the chancellor on Monday. People here hung on Little's every word, and after the rally dispersed, he had some words of thanks for the football team.

"To get things done, we had to have some leverage," Little said, "and that leverage was the strength of the football team."

Rush nailed this yesterday. Said UM would be repeated around the country and athletes at schools with big money football programs would be pressured to back the SJWs.

U of Missouri was supposedly a gold star place of tolerance. They have mandatory 'diversity training' for all students. Michael Sam, the gay football player, previously had said he'd suffered no instances of racism during his time there:

http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/culture/dylan-gwinn/2015/11/09/michael-sam-claims-have-personally-experienced-no-racism

Yet the unsubstantiated claims of the Nazi poo incident (there's no photos or police report to verify this happened) and then the campus race baiter claiming he was yelled at (the N-word) without any proof are enough to bring down the two head administrators of the entire university system.

This is a terrible precedent that'll be repeated around the country. The coaches (the UM coach makes $3 million a year) will be forced to back the players for fear they will be put on the racial cleansing hit list.

It just took one Wall Street firm to reject Jesse Jackson's shakedowns to bring it to a halt.

Who will be the first university to call the thug player's bluff?

I have had enough football. My team is losing badly anyway. Cancel the rest of the season and send the protesting jocks home.

Marx saw the value of taking the media, taking relgion and taking education. But even slick Karl never saw the value of taking sports.

“...would be repeated around the country”

What is missing from Rush’s calculations is how terrible a person Gary Pinkel is. He really is absolute scum. This may happen where the coach is scum. LSU, wherever Bo Pelini is, etc.

This is going to escalate to the point that, hopefully, the American public will realize how the puppetmasters (probably the Communist Party USA)are manipulating the black racist activists through sports.

I expect this to have an impact on viewership.

I know if I was a Mizzou fan, I would be no more. If Okstate players did this, I couldn’t watch another game.

Should have called each “athlete” in. Pointed to their scholarship which was an athletic one and said, we admire your stance and we don’t disagree with your speech. However, since your scholarship requires you to be an athlete and since you are not upholding your end of the bargain, said scholarship is now voided. You can finish out this semester and then God’s speed to you as you seek another school.

The hunger strike guy’s dad has a net worth of over $20 million, he knows more about “privilege” and just about every kid on campus.

I don’t expect to see any teams with winning records jump on this bandwagon. It’s only attractive to the losers.

your scholarship requires you to be an athlete....

You are, of course, arguing the sanctity of the contract. And at one time that was important...back when this country believed in the Rule of Law.

Now, from the President on down, all that matters is that the activity, legal or not, is for a "good cause".

Maybe I missed it. What did they "get done"? All I've heard are that a couple of people no longer have a job. Did that improve anyone's life?

Reminds me of the "wealth inequality" people. They don't care a bit about making the lives of a single poor person better. But they'll feel good if they can make the life of a wealthy person worse.

The Mizzou protests accomplished two things. It took the focus off their football team’s losing record this year and there is one less weirdo professor on campus.
However, in the future, there will be far fewer White students enrolling at this sullied campus.

No one can ever meet their demands because just as your cross over the bar, it gets raised higher. There is no pleasing anarchists who’s sole purpose is to destroy the system.

College football teams. The DNC’s new Hollyweirdo celebrities. What some jackass playing with balls thinks about politics impresses me about as much as some Hollywood jackass spewing words put in his/her mouth by somebody else.
