His book? That's a lie. It wasn't Trump's book, it is a book ABOUT Trump by Michael D'Antonio.

The author was quoted as saying this: "The story was an eraser thrown at the wrong time," he said. "He was a kid who was a handful."

That's not quite the same thing as hitting someone with a hammer.
