Agreed, and have mentioned that on a few posts. The school shooting in Oregon was stopped when two cops (detectives) got the call, drove to the school and jumped out of their car and ran to the sound of gunfire.
Within 4 minutes of them getting the call it was over! (Quoted something like “Well we had it planned that we would put on our vests, grab our gear....but then we heard the shots so we just ran.”)
