God bless those people who dragged away their friends, rather than leave them behind.
I agree, though the French haven’t always deserved credit for their heroic bravery. Hubby and I heard a woman interviewed this morning . . she and her male ‘friend’ were in the restaurant that got hit with drive-by shootings. Hubby was disgusted when she said her ‘friend’ was under the table holding onto her leg as she stood there, frozen in fear, holding onto a stranger next to her as the woman got shot. Of course I won’t post what Hubby said about the man under the table . . as Hubby is rarely politically correct in his speech.
