I didn't read it as lies; but rather a look at his determination and "never say never" style of taking the long road and not giving up. Usually, what the left sees as contemptible, conservatives think is fine. And vice versa.

But of course, he seldom loses. That’s why WTP wish to see him in the WH. The man is a genius in planning out his strategy in ‘how to win’. Keeping the plans under his hat until used. A larger than life, decent man, a TRUE AMERICAN PATRIOT, who loves the nation and the citizens therein. He remembers, as a baby boomer, how things ‘used to be’ and wishes to keep those memories alive and thriving. Coming from the same generation, many of us see right thru to the heart of the man. Seems when seeing TRUMP in one of his rallies on Fri or Sat - Lord can’t remember which or even where he was seen— Iowa I believe, the man commented on how he admired Sen. Ted Cruz and had a very good relationship with him. But of course, it was once stated that he had a good relationship with Gov. Perry as well, and we all know what became of that. TRUMP and CRUZ have met together more than once. Would love to have been a fly on that wall to listen to the complete discussion.

Your thoughts=equal the same thoughts here. Cruz doing the leg work needing to be done as The Donald takes the incoming fire. If TRUMP wins the nomination and does not name CRUZ as his running mate, not only would I be sorely surprised, I’d be thoroughly disappointed in him.

He's an idiot, an egomaniac! Who does he think he is? That's not how it works, he doesn't know what he's doing, etc,etc.

I think it might have something to do with Cruz’s ambitions. If he wants to sit in the chair he would accept an offer as VP. If he was willing to serve as AG then a Supreme, I believe he would become an historical figure.
Sen. Cruz would be a great candidate for any of those chairs. And knowing how the left and not only the left but his own party, hates Cruz and everything for which he stands, the man could never be elected or nominated on individual accomplishment. The two, Trump/Cruz, seem to have worked together to perfect this dance and both have the opportunity to succeed in their ambitions - MAKE AMERICA WHOLE and GREAT AGAIN!
