Yeah, they have health insurance but can’t afford to get healthcare.

It has served the purpose of getting many off of employer provided health insurance and wrecking the old system. The easy fix will be to put everyone on Medicare (single payer).

Yes, the deductibles are so high that you are paying for insurance without having insurance.

The easy fix will be to put everyone on Medicare (single payer).

Most people pay into Medicare for 30-40 years, 10 years at least, before they can begin to be eligible for benefits. How you think that would work out for tens of millions of young people and chronically unemployed welfare recipients who have paid little or nothing?
