Iraq warned US-led coalition countries of imminent assault before Paris attacks

An Iraqi intelligence dispatch sent to coalition countries warned of imminent assaults by the Islamic State group just one day before last week's deadly attacks in Paris killed 129 people.

Iraqi intelligence said the group's leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, ordered an attack on coalition countries fighting against them in Iraq and Syria, as well as on Iran and Russia, "through bombings or assassinations or hostage taking in the coming days."

Was there a specific piece of actionable intelligence, i.e., there will be an attack at this place at this time, or were they vague generic warnings, i.e., there will be an attack?

If the former okay whoever did nothing should be held responsible, if the latter, the Iraqi intelligence was wasting time.

A blanket threat to numerous countries could not deter an attack somewhere. All western countries are sitting ducks for an attack. Our country is more vulnerable since Obama, being of the Islamic faith, will not admit the Islamic terrorists could possibly attack us in an organized attack.
