Russia unleashes bombs, cruise missiles against ISIS
Washington Examiner ^ | November 17, 2015 | JACQUELINE KLIMAS

Russia blasted the Islamic State's declared capital in Raqqa, Syria, early Tuesday morning after publicly confirming that a homemade bomb took down its airliner over Egypt.

The Russian strikes come days after the French also stepped up their air campaign against the Islamic State in Raqqa after a string of six attacks, while President Obama has said the U.S. strategy does not need a revision.

A U.S. defense official said the Russians notified the U.S. before conduct its bombing runs, according to the safety protocols the two countries agreed to last month.

Russia struck Raqqa with advanced Kalibr cruise missiles launched from a submarine in the eastern Mediterranean.

Putin now knows who downed his airliner
He is a man of action, not words
He will kill the dog who bit him
But he will also take revenge on the owner of the dog

Maybe if they (Russians) flatten Raqqa without worrying about “Collateral Damage” (i.e. Civilian Casualties), maybe the terrorists will get the message.

Do you honestly believe that terrorists care about collateral damage?

Our ‘strategy’ . We bombed over 100 oil tankers that were PARKED in a huge lot near the border because they were unserviceable.

But all the Russophobes assured us Putin was only attacking the “good” jihadis, and he wouldn’t really go after ISIS. That’s why they want us to shoot down Russian jets.

Actually, they are DEVOTED to causing as much collateral damage as possible. They are bound by Allah to do it. It's written in their book.

At the G20 Putin said at least half the membership has been funding ISIS

I think he was speaking to Foggy Bottom

Russia conducted 2300 sorties in the past 48 hours
That is a huge surge over it’s previous daily daily total of 60 or so
They are using SLCM’s, Backfires and bringing in more hardware

Oh and they just announced a military alliance with France in Syria

Guess Hollande figured out the US intelligence was feeding him lists of deserted targets

Have no doubt. Russian disregard for human life is legendary. Replacing Muzzies with Russians won’t solve our problems though, and will make it worth: instead of fighting unruly savages, we will have to deal with organized force of frost-bitten humanoids with ancient self-destructing nukes.

Russia needs to carpet bomb the entire country and clean house, assuming we have no special forces in or near the target zones.

No they don’t. But fortunately, neither do the Russians or French.

Obamas weakness has forged a Franco-Russian allance. Wait til the Charles deGaul Carrier arrives off Syria. The French can be mean SOBs when they want to. Watch—France will sell Putin the Carrier they built—maybe build more. These two acts—The airliner crash and the Paris Attack may well have signed the death warrent for IS (Dash). But, it has made America look silly, childish and weak.

Did we hurry and tell our jihadis to head down to the shelter?
