Here’s the name:
A former Islamist extremist was on “The Kelly File” to discuss the threat of ISIS.
Maajid Nawaz, who is from a middle-class English family of Pakistani descent, was recruited by an organization which aimed to establish an Islamic caliphate. By age 16, he was a ranking member.
Eight years later, Nawaz was rounded up in Egypt during a post-Sept. 11 crackdown on extremists.
During his four years in prison, he spoke with former extremists and fellow inmates and had a dramatic change of heart. He then returned to the U.K. and went on to found the world’s first counter-extremist think tank.
Nawaz sounded off on the reported beheadings of American journalists and said there is no justification for what ISIS has done. He said we must condemn ISIS - but we must go further than that, actively working to undermine a “poisonous ideology.”
Nawaz said this issue is not a clash of civilizations between Islam and the western world; it’s an “intra-religious struggle within Islam.”
Some of the ladies in our community have gotten together to find out what we can about Islam and Muslims. We watched this DVD and it is so very informative. It’s from a series. I encourage you to watch it. The True Face is Islam by Shahram Hadian. Ex-Muslim now Christian.

It wasn’t Nawaz.
Nawaz seems to be quite the Taqiyya (lie to promote the advancement of Islam as a ‘religion of peace’) master with this statement:
“Nawaz said this issue is not a clash of civilizations between Islam and the western world; itâs an âintra-religious struggle within Islam.â”
All Islam would see the infidel dead or converted.
