Sami Kazikhani once risked his life serving alongside U.S. Marines in Afghanistan, but now he, his wife and their young daughter find themselves sleeping in refugee camps and the unfamiliar streets of Europe as they desperately seek a new life in America.
Marked for death in his homeland after being outed as a "collaborator" in a dramatic incident at a family wedding, Kazikhani, who was lauded by Marines he once served, was forced to flee last year even while he was applying for safe passage to the U.S. with his wife Yasmiin and infant daughter Roxanna under a special visa program designed for those who served our troops. With tribal elders ordering his death, Kazikhani fled first to Turkey, then made the dangerous trip across the Aegean Sea just weeks ago after being ordered out of Turkey.

If he has the sponsors in the Marine Corp to vouch for his story, then he should have no problem making it to the United States.
Otherwise, this could just be a pity story put out by the media to try and skew the sentiment on these so-called ‘refugees’.
Convince us that you’ll abide by the Constitution, and respect the Bill Of Rights as it applies to others. We’re growing concerned about people coming here to find peace & safety, only to implement the same sociopolitical conditions that produced the horrors you’re fleeing.
If a true story, I’m all for that family being admitted.
Have some Marine that can vouch for him, vouch for him, and sponsor him. There should be an expedited process for such people WHO CAN PROVE IT.
So they went and found the one guy who really, really deserves to come here.
And he does and there is no reason whatsoever to delay or deny him.
He and his family should be welcomed with open arms
He deserves to be welcomed
There is no reason he is not here except Barack does not want him here which is entirely consistent with Obamas views on those who fight radical Islamists.
I do welcome him - so long as he agrees to abide by the Constitution and respect the Bill Of Rights, a simple requirement for all arriving. Yes, seems redundant in this case...so it shouldn’t be a problem.
