In 2010, Independents comprised 24% of the electorate.

In 2014, Independents comprised 42% of the electorate.

That is not an accident.

Trump/Cruz can win whatever path is taken.

If Trump runs as a third party candidate, the Republican comes in third. I would not be confident he could defeat Hillary. Hillary goes into November, 2016 race with 38 to 40% of the vote.

“In 2014, Independents comprised 42% of the electorate.”

And if the remainder were split equally between Democrats and republicans each would have 29% of the electorate?

Not buying it.

No.. He won’t. Any idea this wouldn’t set up an easy win for Hillary is folly. If Trump goes 3rd party, she wins in a walk. The libs will vote for her no matter what.
