I will say for Sen. Lieberman is that he seems more honest than the average politician (admittedly not much of a standard, is it?) ... AND... he always seemed like he’s willing to defend America against those savages that threaten our country

however, his domestic politics are still too ‘leftist’ for my taste. I would certainly hope he could get the D nomination instead of YouKnowWho.... (Mrs. Liar)

but right now, for all the respect I have for JL, let’s keep working to get a credible R nominated! (No GOP-e loser candidate this time, darnit!!!!)

Except that Lieberman disgraced himself when, during the B-J Clinton trial in the Senate, Lieberman spent an hour condemning Clinton’s behavior and multiple felonies — that Clinton was a disgrace — then voted with the rest of the Democrat Socialists not to convict.
