On the eve of what’s expected to be the most-traveled holiday for Americans in a decade, President Obama’s national security advisers told him Tuesday that there is no specific, credible threat from the Islamic State extremists who carried out the deadly attacks in Paris.
Mr. Obama met with his national security council at the White House to discuss the response to the Paris killing spree on Nov. 13 and other attacks by the militants. The advisers told the president there is no known threat to the homeland from the extremist group, also known by the acronym ISIL.
The president has been urging Americans to go on with their daily routines and not be concerned about a possible terrorist attack in the U.S., as people prepare to travel for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Catherine Herridge pointed out that the ‘no known threat’ is based within the context of an environment where the terrorists are using encryption to avoid detection (successfully, as in Paris) and the various agencies are potentially deaf/blind in that regard & don’t know what they don’t know. Small comfort - actually, no comfort, quite frankly. The terrorists love to prove Omuslim wrong, too ..... Jayvee? Kaboom! Contained? Kaboom kaboom! No threat in America? We’ll see what happens.

In light of the scandal re manipulated info on the rise of ISIS, I’d say Obama :
1. Doesn’t want to hear any negative news about security issues right now.
2. Wouldn’t believe it if he heard it.
3. Wouldn’t allow it to be shared publicly even IF we under imminent threat.
Not one thing coming from the Obama WH should be trusted.
