As far as I know his biggest lead in IA was 7 or 8%; Carson was up 14% over Trump four weeks ago in Iowa and Cruz is now gaining for sure.
I think Cruz has improved over the last couple weeks, but so has Trump. Cruz supporters should look at the crowd reaction at a Trump rally, and learn something, but they don't.
Before Trump announced I said he was a fumble mouthed blowhard that couldn't speak in complete sentences and I see no change in that assessment.
The Trump mojo came as a complete surprise to me as I am sure it did to many others but I see nothing to gain from the relentless attacks on the Trumpeters and Trumpets as CruzControl freepers call them.
Cruz will not pull a single democrat vote but Trump will and that is what the DC crowd really fears. Freeperland where 10 > 40

It seems to have been a Reuter’s decision. It seemed rather transparent to me.
I’m certain others will see nothing here at all.
I think you're right, add Cruz's popularity with the base and you have the winning ticket: Trump/Cruz.
