Now the facts. The lead singer of the band is a Republican. Used to write speeches for the South Carolina Republican party before he was in the band. He probably already has a concealed weapons permit since he has been a big gun guy most of his life. He has stated in interviews that he owns a lot of guns. As a Rock guy, he is more Ted Nugent than a Liberal.
